I wasn't home but understand that one LP succumbed after being jumped on, another was dragged along the concrete sidewalk and the third (I arrived for this one) Rick bit a piece off. I remember him trying to spit out pieces of the track from the record; possible one of his first taste's of music.

My reflection concluded with: "did that happen in '75 or '76. Now I have my answer.

thanksAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02266743365627046284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2874417353860092297.post-69637674676675579472013-02-01T18:49:05.115-08:002013-02-01T18:49:05.115-08:00You know, I often wonder if all the smoke from tho...You know, I often wonder if all the smoke from those fires has somehow contributed to "global warming." HAHAHA. Great story and I remember the day and I wished that I could have "saved" some of them from their untimely death.
Philip Dyckhttp://philipdyckcounseling.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2874417353860092297.post-55730991521134192602013-01-16T17:57:19.609-08:002013-01-16T17:57:19.609-08:00finally they will burn me..i left Prairie after th...finally they will burn me..i left Prairie after that bon fire..in the 1975...I was never interested in music or rock n roll for that maters..just i have to get away..to go home ..into the <disappearance ..sky! hehehehe! They were scam artists ho found a way to make a buck off of impressionable 'maroons' (as Bugs Bunny would call them).

Like you said, Steve, there was plenty of questionable content in many albums when you played them normally...no need to play them backwards to find further "evils." But, also like you intimated, there are also certain amounts of dishonesty in even what many would consider the most sacred of albums. People should quit putting artists up on pedestals. We're all fallen, and are all capable of both embarrassing, hurtful choices and beautiful sacrifices of praise. After all, nobody shits ice cream.
Mark A.
